Research Profile

Marcia Blasi has done research in the field of practical and systematic theology, specifically in the field of feminist theology and gender studies, violence against women and gender justice. She coordinates the Gender and Religion Program and is the coordinator of the “Gender Research Group” at Faculdades EST.

Teaching Profile

Marcia Blasi is associate professor of Systematic Theology at Faculdades EST, in São Leopoldo/RS, Brazil. She did her undergraduate studies in Theology at the Escola Superior de Teologia (Faculdades EST – 1990-97), MA in Theology at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA, USA (1999-2001) and a doctorate at Faculdades EST, Brazil (2014-17). She teaches Feminist Theology, Gender Studies and Missiology. She currently coordinates the undergraduate Theology Course of Faculdades EST.
